The Tech Girls Are Superheroes competition is a youth entrepreneurship program that runs for 12 weeks from the 11th of April to the 1st of July 2016. Teams work through 12 modules with their teacher over this time. Teams of young women identify a problem, create an app to solve it, code the app, build a company to launch the app in the market, and pitch their plan to experts all in 3 months. One of the key deliverables in this program is the app created with App Inventor. We hope that we can connect with volunteers from Code the Future to provide advice and guidance in app development and entrepreneurship.
